This top has a very simple shape that is strong and also sophisticated. Front and back center openings are cut at an angle and stitched only at the shoulders. These openings have a wide overlap that allows movement without gaping. Can be made with soft, drapey fabric or heavier weight for a more controlled look.
Suggestions:
* Use 2, 3 or 4 different fabric for variety
* Use facings as a design detail
* Use different fabric for each garment half
* Buttons and/or decorative trim can be added
* Stitch opening closed
